Well ,I've gotten behind. Internet access hasn't been great. I have been driving 10-12 hour days. I've finally gotten a shower & some rest. I'm sitting under the shade trees at the Fathers's day Bluegrass festival in Grass Valley ,Ca listening to Della Mae sing & play.I loved the desert it was beautiful, but I was never so glad to see trees when they finally appeared.
Back to the Grand Canyon , it was beautiful . Cara was scaring me to death. She is not afraid of heights& doesn't have any fear of falling.
We had some generator trouble & had to leave a day early.
I'm glad it is off my bucket list & would love to go back and ride that mule to the bottom.
What an amazing place to see! Kendall is horrified of heights and would've never seen the view. Did you guys go out on that glass balcony? They say it's pretty cool.
