The Grand Canyon is on the way to Idaho

Well we are going on a trip or, maybe I should call it an adventure.

The Girls & I  and the Dog.

For a while now Cara has wanted to go to Weiser, ID to participate in the National oldtime fiddlers contest. It is held the 3rd week of June & this is it's 61st year.

I have always wanted to go west & to see the Grand Canyon. ( the Brady Bunch did it ) It is on the way to Idaho, which I have tried to convince myself of this & others. It doesn't look that far from it on the atlas. I know , I know but,  it will be fun.

Frannie has to go because she is the sane one.Since she has to go she put in her request to attend the Fathers's day Bluegrass festival in Grass Valley , Ca & Apparently it is on the way to Idaho too.

Well Rosie ( the dog) is coming because I didn't get any volunteers to keep her for a month.

We really just could not be without her for  that long & she is our protector.

So, I thought we would journal about our trip . I am sure that my Facebook friends will appreciate not having to see every picture from here to California & back.

We are leaving Thur June 6th a week from today. We are frantically running around try to get everything ready.We will be traveling in the Expedition & pulling my cute little camp lite trailer. I have mapped it out an it looks like about 5000 miles round trip. I have the 1st half of the trip planned down to the minute, the trip from yellowstone to Romp ( Bluegrass festival in Ownsboro, Ky ) kinda winging it. If anyone has any suggestions of things to do on the way back just shout them out. Looks like we will be crossing the whole state of Nebraska. What is in Nebraska?
